Day 2.1 – Because I lost count

Physics students are out on a trip, so I’m using the time to make some rocking upgrades to my energy unit. Key idea: energy and force are competing ways of describing/analyzing systems, each with some distinct advantages.

Math: I needed to spice up our direct proportion unit with some motivation and some simple contextual experience. Whatever could I do? Oh wait, I’m a physics teacher, how about springs? We took measurements today, will report on the analysis phase tomorrow.
